East Brother Lighthouse from the mainland
37 ° 57' 47" N 122 ° 26' 0" W Located on East Brother Island, a few hundred yards offshore. East Brother is easily viewable from shore. From Richmond take the 580 toward San Rafael and tafke the very last exit before getting on the bridge (signs will say it is the exit for East Brother Lighthouse). The lighthouse is viewable from the road in several locations, as well as from the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge itself. The best view is from the road which crosses a decommissioned military base, not the bridge.
